The women of Summit Communications united around an extraordinary initiative: giving back with purpose. Through their collective effort, 12,000 nutritious school meals were provided to children at Thrive Schools, ensuring that students could learn with full stomachs, clear minds, and renewed energy. But their commitment didn’t stop there.
Two new libraries were established at Thrive GLP Schools through Light of Hope’s Porua initiative — safe, vibrant spaces designed to spark curiosity, nurture imagination, and help children fall in love with reading.
A Day of Joy: Inaugurating the Libraries
The newly built libraries were recently inaugurated in a heartfelt ceremony led by Ms. Sharmin Zaman, Chief Marketing Officer of Summit Communications, and Ms. Amna Rahman, Co‑Vice President & Chairman of the Bangladesh Trust at Thrive. Representatives from Light of Hope, senior officials from partner organizations, and Summit’s inspiring female colleagues joined the celebration.
As the doors opened, the children’s reactions said everything. Their smiles — wide, unfiltered, and full of wonder — lit up the room. Their excitement at seeing shelves filled with books was a reminder of how transformative a simple space can be when it invites a child to dream.
